Special Adobe UI elements are available for form development in a Web Dynpro application. These can be selected on the Web Dynpro tab of the Form Builder element library (see documentation on PDF-Based Print Forms).
Two of these elements are currently supported by the Web Dynpro environment:
With the Web Dynpro form UI element SubmitToSAP, the input data of a PDF form is sent to an SAP backend system for storage. The UI element also provides an automatically generated event.
¡ Using the form UI element HideReaderToolbar, you can prevent the Adobe tool list from being displayed in the browser. The user then cannot store a PDF form locally or print it out. The display area of the form on the screen is increased automatically when the toolbar is disabled.
Documentation about forms and the Form Builder is available under Form Design Using the Form Builder. Note that for Web Dynpro ABAP the interface definition and activation mentioned there is not required.
Documentation on the individual UI elements is available in the online help for the Form Builders: Choose Help and then expand the section Working with Objects.
