Use

To implement the various communication channels through which employees can contact the Employee Interaction Center (EIC), you require Communication Management Software. For more information, see Structure linkCommunication Management Software.

Activities

To set up a Communication Management system, you must perform the following steps:

       1.      Establish a connection to an SAP Contact Center Simulation Tool.

                            a.      To do this, start transaction SM59 (Display and Maintain RFC Destinations).

                            b.      Choose HTTP Connections to Ext. Server.

                            c.      Enter the path to SAP Contact Center Simulator.

       2.      Make the Customizing settings for the communication management software. Perform the activities in Customizing for Personnel Administration under Employee Interaction Center (EIC) ® Interaction Center WebClient ® Basic Functions ® Communication Management Software.
