Infotype Settings ESS Salary / Remuneration Statement (0655) 

Definition

Infotype in which you define that the employee only receives the salary statement or the payment advice note for transfer in selected countries by ESS.

The date on which the infotype is read depends on the payment date of the payroll period. If the payment date is in the:

·         past, the current date is used as the read date.

·         future, the payment date is used as the read date.

Use

Evaluating Infotypes for the Salary Statement

You have set the ESS – do not print indicator in the infotype. In the report for creating the salary statement, this indicator is only evaluated if you set the ESS check indicator on the report selection screen. The salary statement is not printed for this employee. The forms are available via ESS or on the check.

You have set the ESS – do not print indicator in the infotype. In the report for creating the salary statement, you have not set the ESS check indicator. The salary statements are printed for all the employees selected.

Evaluating Infotypes in the Preliminary DME Program

This infotype is only evaluated for selected countries in the preliminary DME program.

If the employee is paid by check, the ESS - do not print indicator from the infotype has no affect on the preliminary DME program. The salary statement is printed on the check for these countries irrespective of this field.

If the employee is exclusively paid by bank transfer, then the system evaluates the infotype as follows:

·         If you have set the ESS - do not print indicator in the infotype, then no payment advice note for transfer is created for this employee.

·         If you have not set the ESS - do not print indicator in the infotype, then a payment advice note for transfer is created for this employee.

In the preliminary DME program there is no corresponding indicator on the report selection screen. In these countries, the preliminary DME program always evaluates this field from the infotype.
