Part Load Lift Orders
(SD-SLS-PLL)
You use Part Load Lift Orders when entering orders.
Part load lift orders are orders, with a specific order type, that are not delivered immediately. When you save part load lift orders, the system does not perform any subsequent processes in order processing. When the customer next enters an order, the system displays the part load lift orders available for each sold-to party. You select a part load lift order and the system copies the data in it to the new order.
The Part Load Lift Orders function is integrated into the range of functions for order entry, for example, copy control and referencing of item categories.
Depending on the part load lift orders that exist, the system supports your order entry as follows:
·
You do not
select a part load lift order or no part load lift order
exists.
The system
goes straight to the standard order entry screen. You can use the standard order entry
functions.
·
You select a
complete part load lift order.
The system copies the required data from the part load lift order to
the new order. You can use the standard order
entry functions.
·
You do not
select a complete part load lift order.
The system copies the selected items from the part load lift order to
the new order. You can use the standard order
entry functions.
The following can be reasons for entering part load lift orders:
· The sales representative promised the customer a free article.
· The customer has returned empties that are not to be settled immediately.
· The order was not entered during the sales representative’s visit cycle.
