Pricing in Billing

Use

This function is used to determine whether and how pricing is to be performed during billing document creation.

Prerequisites

You have maintained conditions and assigned the pricing type in Customizing.

Features

The system makes a distinction between various pricing types. The pricing type controls which condition types are determined again or transferred in their current form.

Use

A

Condition types are not determined again (prices are copied from the sales document). Scale prices are adjusted in the event of a changed scale basis.

The pricing type is not relevant in IS-M/AM order billing, since the quantity in the order must be identical to the quantity for billing. Corresponds to pricing type E in IS-M/AM order billing.

B

New pricing is performed. Manual changes are lost.

The pricing type is used for the New pricing function on the price condition screen.

C

New pricing is performed. Manual changes are copied.

If you have not chosen a pricing type in document type determination, the system chooses pricing type C.
You must choose a pricing type if you use condition types that can be changed manually.
All condition types that can be changed manually must have the key "C" in the Manual entries field KMANU) in the Customizing- settings.

D

The system does not determine condition types again. Unlike A, scales are not updated. The following is calculated: Quantity x price = value.
The system does not determine taxes again.

The pricing type is not relevant in IS-M/AM order billing, since the quantity in the order must be identical to the quantity for billing. Corresponds to pricing type E in IS-M/AM order billing.

E

The system does not determine condition types again. Unlike A, scales are not updated. No calculations are performed.
The system does not determine taxes again.

This pricing type is recommended for the billing of Cash Sales

The system determines the following condition types again:
Taxes (condition class D)
internal clearing conditions (condition category I)
cash discount conditions (condition category E)

You should copy the settings in the reference clients if possible.
