This documentation explains how the country-specific functions work and what Customizing settings are made by the country template. It does not cover the generic functions, which are described in the rest of the SAP Library.

Country Version Thailand comes with additional functions for Financials, Logistics, and Human Resources:

• In Financial Accounting (FI), it covers requirements relating to value-added tax (VAT) and withholding tax, allowing taxes to be collected and remitted at local level, and supporting tax invoices. Special functions are offered for tracking postdated checks and for the cash journal; and functions are available for handling assets according to Thai accounting requirements.
• In Materials Management (MM), additional functions are provided for inventory reporting, as required by law, and for printing purchase orders in the format required in Thailand.
• Sales and Distribution (SD) handles tax invoices. It also handles free warranties, and provides a form for printing credit and debit memos in the required format.
• Country Version Thailand also includes a Thai version of Payroll (PY), Payroll Thailand (PY-TH).
