Component documentation Single Roles in Enterprise Buyer Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Roles describe the activities that internal employees or external business partners perform in a business scenario.

After logging on to the system, users see all functions that they need to process their tasks.

In the Implementation Guide (IMG) under: Supplier Relationship Management  ® SRM Server  ®Cross-Application Basic Settings ® Roles, you can find which tasks are assigned to each role.

Note

Independent of the role, all users need a user master record in order to be able to log on to the system. In SAP Enterprise Buyer, both internal employees and external business partners can request and change their own user master record.
