Features

The following e-Recruiting applications are available:

     Candidate Profile

Employees can use the candidate profile to store their resume, contact data, and job preferences.

     Data Overview

Employees can use the data overview to display an overview of the data that they have stored in their profile.

     Profile Release

Employees can use this function to release their candidate profile so that recruiters can view it. As long as an employee does not release the candidate profile, only he or she has access to the data in it.

     Apply directly

Employees can apply for a job directly using the reference code of a job posting.

     Search for jobs

Employees can search the database for suitable jobs. They can restrict the search by entering search criteria.

     Favorites

Employees can create a list of favorites in which they store jobs that they have flagged as interesting. They can apply for jobs directly from these job postings.

     Applications

Employees can display an list of their current applications.

     Personal settings

Employees can customize their e-Recruiting pages to suit their preferences. They can set the data format, decimal notation, language in which they prefer to work, and the format in which the data overview is displayed.

Prerequisites

You use SAP e-Recruiting 3.00 with Support Package 1, or higher.

Before you can use the e-Recruiting applications, you have to make the following settings in the Implementation Guide (IMG):

       1.      Specify the server on which SAP e-Recruiting is installed. To do so, choose the following IMG path: Cross-Application Components Homepage Framework Resources Define Server for Resources. Enter the server name and the port of your e-Recruiting system.

       2.      Assign the server to all e-recruiting resources and add the URL parameters stored. To do so, choose the following IMG path: Cross-Application Components Homepage Framework Resources Define Resources.

Enter the e-recruiting server for the following resources. Add the relevant URL parameters by replacing in the BSP client the 000 client with the client of your e-recruiting system.
