Use

This service enables employees to enroll in the benefit plan(s) of their choosing during the employer-defined Open Enrollment period. By means of this service, employees can enroll themselves and their dependents in any combination of medical, dental, investment, life insurance or other benefit plans.

This service also enables employees to adjust their benefit plan selections outside of Open Enrollment, where authorized. For example, if an employee experiences a qualifying event, such as a divorce, then the employee would use this service to adjust their benefit plan selections accordingly.

Range of Functions

This service enables employees to perform three main tasks related to Enrollment, namely:

·        Plan Selection

·        Review Enrollment

·        Confirmation

During Plan Selection, employees add, edit or remove benefit plans, as needed. As they select benefit plans, employees also identify their dependents and beneficiaries, where required. For each plan in which the employee chooses to enroll, this service indicates the associated name, cost and remarks. When employees complete the process of selecting plans here, they proceed to Review Enrollment. Alternatively, employees can cancel Enrollment entirely, if desired.

During Review Enrollment, employees are presented with a summary of all benefit plans they have selected for enrollment. For each plan selected, this service indicates the associated name, cost and enrollment action. If employees wish to enroll in additional plans, or remove existing plans, they may return to Plan Selection, if needed. (If desired, they may also cancel Enrollment entirely.) However, if employees are satisfied with their benefit plan selections, they choose Submit to finalize the enrollment process and to proceed to Confirmation.

During Confirmation, employees are granted confirmation that Enrollment is complete, and that they have successfully enrolled themselves – and their dependents, if applicable – in the selected benefit plan(s). In addition to the confirmation displayed here, this service also provides a summary of all benefit plans in which the employee enrolled.
