Notes on Replacing Short Texts 

Transport and Correction System

To replace the short texts, use is made of the transport tool of the SAP system. You must therefore set up the transport and correction system. In particular, you must allow transports of copies.

Users and Authorizations

You should run the replacement program as user SAP* .  This user requires the following authorizations:

·        S_A.SYSTEM (general administrator authorization)

·        S_BRAN_ALL (industry-sector administration)

·        S_BTCH_ALL (background job administration)

Background Jobs

To replace texts, you plan background jobs. The system prevents several background jobs being active at the same time.

if a background job is canceled or does not become active, this can block further processing. If this occurs, delete the canceled job from the list of jobs. Also do this for jobs that have no start date.
