Procedure documentation Activating Persistent Classes Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Prerequisites

Note

By activating the classes separately, you have the advantage that the persistent class and corresponding CA class can be enhanced independently from one another.

Procedure

  1. Select the appropriate CL class.
  2. Select the Activate This graphic is explained in the accompanying text pushbutton from the application toolbar.
  3. When you activate the CL class, the CB class is also activated.

  4. Select the appropriate CA class.
  5. Select Activate, see step 2.
  6. The system displays a list of inactive objects on which all subobjects of the CA class are selected.

  7. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Continue to confirm your entries.

Result

The system displays all components of the CB class and CA class in the Class Builder. You can generate instances of these classes after activating the CL and CA classes.
