This object is used for transferring the complete merchandise category hierarchy assigned to the target store in POS interface - outbound. This includes the merchandise category itself.

SAP Retail differentiates between single merchandise categories and merchandise category hierarchies. The latter are modeled as classes in the classification system.

The object is not time-dependent.

Data is prepared in one of two ways:

• The system only transfers merchandise categories if they are explicitly assigned to the target store, and are not excluded from transferal. You make the settings for this in the site maintenance.

• The system transfers all merchandise categories. You must make settings in the POS outbound profile for the target store so that sales for this store run using all merchandise categories.
