Function documentation Additionals: Additionals Monitor Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

The additionals monitor provides you with an overview of the additionals documents that the system generated through previously triggered follow-up actions, and their status. The entries in the monitor differ depending on the follow-up action:

·        Generate additionals IDoc immediately

An event in an application (such as the posting of a goods movement) triggered the generation of an additionals IDoc.

·        Generate additionals IDoc when requested externally

An external communications partner called the BAPI to request additionals data, and thus triggered the generation of an IDoc.

·        Generate additionals purchase orders

An event in an application led to order data for additionals being updated. The report for generating additionals purchase orders was then started.

The monitor shows whether the system created an additionals IDoc or purchase order successfully. If this was not successful, you can analyze the error in the monitor. After you have clarified the error, you can re-start the generation of the IDoc or purchase order in the monitor.

Integration

You can trigger the generation of additionals IDocs or purchase orders in the additionals monitor.

Features

·        The monitor provides an overview of the status of follow-up actions.

·        You can go from the overview screen to various detailed display screens, for example to display additionals article master records or vendor purchase orders.

·        You can trigger the generation of additionals IDocs.

·        You can trigger the generation of additionals purchase orders.

·        If you have the appropriate authorization, you can process additionals documents.

¡        As well as the additionals that the system determined on the basis of the assignment to the article in the master data, you can enter other additionals.

Note

In the additionals monitor you cannot you cannot create new additionals. You can only assign existing additionals to articles.

¡        You can replace the additionals determined automatically by the system with other additionals from the same merchandise category.

¡        You can assign additionals to articles to which no additionals have yet been assigned via the master data.

¡        You can process attributes of additionals items in individual records or as part of a mass change. For mass changes, the system provides filter functions.

¡        You can delete items from additionals documents.

Note

If you delete all items for an additionals document, the system deletes the entire document.

On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics ® Retailing ® Master Data ® Season ® Markdown Profile Assignments ® Edit.
