Price Planning Workbench 

Definition

Uniform working environment used to make price changes in the following price planning processes: Rule-based markdown controlling, promotion and manual price change.

Use

In the Price Planning Workbench (PPW) you create and process price plans.

Structure

The following screen areas are available in the PPW when creating a price plan:

 

Worklist

In this screen area, the system displays the objects selected to be edited (markdown proposals, articles, permanent organization sets, and price plans) hierarchically in a selection tree. In processing, you select the objects you want from the selection tree.

Header Data for the Price Plan

In this area you enter the data for a price plan that is valid for all articles. The following tab pages are available:

·        General Header Data

Short text and validity period of the price plan and control data for the price planning process

·        Organization set

Define the organizational levels to which the price changes in the price plan apply

·        Processing History

Created by and creation date, and changed by and change date of the last online change

The following additional tab pages are available for promotion price plans:

·        Promotion Header Data

Settings for the promotion associated with the promotion price plan, for example, promotion description, selling periods and subsequent promotion processing.

·        Promotion Site Groups

Define the site groups for which the price changes in the price plan apply

Working Area

The system displays the article-related data from the price plan in this section of the screen. You can choose between an overview screen with cumulated data from the underlying price activation levels and a detail screen for the price activation levels.

Budget Monitor

The system provides an overview of the budget on this area of the screen. You can limit the budgets displayed to those that belong to the price plan, or you can display all the budgets that are assigned to you in the authorization management setting.

Message Log

The system displays all the notes, warnings and errors that occur in the PPW in this screen area. This screen area is only visible if messages exist.
