Data Exchange of Price Quotations (in the ERP System) 

Use

Price quotations in SAP CRM are used for commodity pricing in SAP CRM and in the ERP system.

If you do not create the price quotations exclusively in SAP CRM, you use this function to synchronize the master data in both systems.

You use this function to export price quotations that you either imported into the ERP system using Treasury Datafeed or created manually in the ERP system to the CRM system.

Integration

Data is exchanged between SAP CRM and ERP systems using CRM Middleware, and is based on the principle of data replication.

Prerequisites

• You have made the settings for CRM Middleware.
• You have created or changed the price quotations using the datafeed interface or on the SAP Easy Access screen, by choosing Logistics ® Sales and Distribution ® Master Data ® Conditions ® Commodity Pricing ® Price Quotations for CPE ® Create or Change.

Features

You can use the data exchange function for price quotations that you created or changed in the following ways (data replication):

·        Updates using the datafeed interface

·        Manual maintenance of price quotations in the ERP system

·        Manual maintenance of price quotations in the CRM system

You trigger the initial load of price quotations from the ERP system to SAP CRM in SAP CRM.

Activities

To begin the initial load of price quotations with the object name CPEPRICEQUOT in SAP CRM, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Architecture and Technology ® Middleware ® Data Exchange ® Initial Load ® Start.

To perform a delta load, the initial load must have been performed successfully.
