The following section explains the platform-specific features of memory management.

Both implementation and the setting of parameters depends on the operating system used.

Integration

The basic functions of memory management are platform-independent and are described in detail under Functions of the SAP Memory Management System. The implementation and parameter settings, however, depend largely on the operating system used.
