Function documentation Purchase Orders in SAP Retail Store Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

In the Purchase Order area of SAP Retail Store you can process purchases orders that are relevant for the current site. Search functions enable you to determine the vendor or site number from the address data of the vendor or supplying site. You can then find the document to be processed.

SAP Retail Store provides the following types of processing for purchase orders:

·        Creating a new purchase order

You create a new purchase order in the following cases:

¡        Procurement of goods from an external vendor or distribution center initiated by the store

¡        Stock transfer of goods between stores. In this case, both issuing and receiving stores can create the purchase order. If the issuing store creates the document, the goods issue can in some circumstances be posted straight away.

¡        Returns of goods to an external vendor

·        Changing or displaying a purchase order. Only the items in which the current store appears as vendor or recipient are displayed.

·        Outbound deliveries of returns or stock transfer items with posting of the goods receipt or goods issue.
