You can use this function to delete from your SAP system data that is used for monitoring system functions and that you no longer need in the POS interface - outbound and assortment lists. This data includes status lines from the status tables in POS outbound and the logs and IDocs belonging to the assortment lists. You can also release change pointers you no longer need for reorganization using the ALE layer.

You can use the reorganization program to delete data from the POS interface - outbound and from assortment lists. The following tables are affected:

• The most recent data record should have status DLMOD = U or I.

• U = updating (since the last time it was transferred correctly)
• I = initialization

• This data record has status GESST = X or H. The reorganization run deletes all the old data records including the logs and IDocs belonging to them.

• X = contains no errors
• H = notes exist

• If the system could not find any data records with these features, in other words if no data was recently sent correctly, then reorganization cannot be performed.

• The rules that are listed for deleting status entries for each assortment list type for which status entries exist separately in table WDLS are valid for assortment lists. Table WDLS contains assortment list types in field SBTYP. Your system manages the status log (tables WDLS and WDLSP) for generating assortment lists according to stores and assortment list types.

• The function flags all the change pointers for reorganization that are no longer required. You can start the reorganization in the ALE monitor.
