Function documentation Additionals in SAP Retail Store Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

Store associates use this function to call up data for additionals. In stores, this usually relates to (shelf-edge) labels and posters.

To create the data, you simply need to enter an EAN/UPC and the required quantity. A print program then converts the data into labels, posters, or advertising placards.

You should use this function if a shelf-edge label has been lost or become illegible. There are different components to support price marking transactions that are required as the result of a goods receipt or sales price change, for example.

Intranet component

Prerequisites

For the additionals to be transferred correctly, the function requires a connector.

For each store, an ALE partner agreement must be set up for the logical output category involved, which is assigned to the merchandise category of an additional. The port used must be a transactional RFC set up for the connector.

For printing the data, a print program not contained in SAP Retail's scope of supply is required. For the IS-ADP interface, you can find certified print programs in SAP's Internet offering (http://www.sap.com/cs), keyword Retail/IS-ADP.

Authorization/security

You can use SAP authorization control to prevent unauthorized employees from executing this IAC.

Standard settings and predefined data

Logical output category WTADDI contains the maximum possible scope of data.

Features

The additionals for one or more articles defined for a store are determined. The data is collected in an IDoc and sent to the store via the connector.

During this process, the system checks the following:

Is the user authorized to execute the transaction?

Is the article listed in the store?

Are one or more relevant additionals assigned to the article? The Assortment list indicator must be set for the procedure for additionals in Customizing.

If entries are incorrect, the system issues error messages or warnings.
