Copy Rule 

Use

This function enables you to define copy rules for the IDoc copy management tool. The rules determine which outbound IDocs for which reference recipients the IDoc copy management tool should copy to which recipients.

Integration

You require a copy rule if you want to use the IDoc copy management tool.

Features

·        You can define copy rules for several message types and reference recipients.

·        You can select the recipients according to port, sales organization, and distribution channel.

·        For each entry, you can define whether a trigger file is to be created for the specified recipient.

·        You can determine whether each entry should use the IDoc copy management tool (active).

·        You can define a group description for each entry.

·        You can perform mass changes.

Activities

...

       1.      As the source data, enter the required message type and a reference recipient; as the target data, enter the port, for example, and choose Continue.

The system displays the selected recipients.

       2.      Select the recipients you require and choose Take from Copy Rule.

The system inserts the selected recipients into the copy rule and highlights them there.

       3.      If you want to change the contents of the fields in the copy rule for several recipients at a time, select the recipients you want to change and choose Perform Mass Change.

       4.      Save the copy rule created.
