Archiving Purchasing Info Records (MM-PUR) 

Definition

Object MM_EINA for archiving purchasing info records in the component MM Purchasing.

Structure

Archiving object MM_EINA archives and deletes data from several tables. You can find out which tables these are using transaction DB15 (see also Tables and Archiving Objects).

Business Add-In

You can enhance the write program and the delete program using the Business Add-In (BAdI) ARC_MM_EINA_WRITE, which allows the archiving of customers’ own additional tables.

The write program supports the ADK interruption concept, which allows you to interrupt the write phase and continue it at a later point in time. For you to be able to use this function, the Interruption Possible indicator must be set in Customizing (transaction AOBJ). This parameter is not preset. The standard variants SAP&PROD (production mode) and SAP&TEST (test mode) are available for the delete program.

During the execution of the two programs, progress messages are regularly issued in the job log and in dialog mode (status line).
