Function documentation Competitor Prices in the Sales Price Calculation Function Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You can use the competitor prices that have been saved as condition records in the system in the sales price calculation function.

Prerequisites

The Customizing and master data settings described under Functional Prerequisites for Competitor Prices must be maintained.

The competitor prices must be created as condition records in the system. See also: Entering and Activating Competitor Prices.

Features

For every pricing item, that is, for every article and corresponding organizational level that you can see on the pricing table screen, you can have the system display the competitor prices in a separate detail screen where you can change them if necessary.

For further information, see Displaying and Changing Competitor Prices in the Sales Price Calculation Function.

You can also have the system use a particular procedure (pricing strategy) to generate a suggested price from the competitor prices.

You can select an appropriate list variant to display the suggested price in its own list field in the pricing table and to adopt it as your sales price.

For further information, see Adopting Suggested Prices as Sales Prices.
