You can include material and handling costs for additionals in the price determined for an article. This allows you to add on the cost of sewn-on care labels to the retail price, for example, or include the cost of ticketing merchandise in the distribution center in the valuation of the article.

You can include the material and handling costs for additionals in the price determined for an article in the following cases:

• sales price determination

• purchase price determination in purchase orders

• valuation price determination for goods movements

You must set up price determination in Customizing so that the condition types for material costs (standard KAD0) and handling costs (standard KAD1) for additionals are included in the associated calculation schema.

When you assign additionals to an article when maintaining the article master data, you must maintain the pricing control data for each additional.
