Business Process Management 

The administration of the Business Process Management scenario comprises the administration of cross-processes (integration processes) and of process that are embedded in SAP applications (Business Workflows).

The following is a description of the scenario-specific administration tasks for both areas.

Prerequisites

The main prerequisite for the administration of the Business Process Management IT scenario are the following technical usage types of SAP NetWeaver:

·        AS ABAP

·        PI - Process Integration (XI)

These technical usage types must be installed and configured. In particular, automatic Customizing for SAP Business Workflow or the Business Process Engine must be executed. For more information about automatic Customizing, see SAP Solution Manager.
