Maintaining Customer Data in SAP Retail Store 

Use

You use this function to display and change the address data of customer. You can also create a customer master record for a new customer.

Procedure

Displaying customer master data

       1.      Enter the number of the customer and choose Display.

The system displays the data.

       2.      If you do not know the customer number, you can find it using the search function. The character * can be used as a placeholder.

Changing existing customer data

...

       1.      Select a customer and choose Change.

The system displays the existing data as changeable.

       2.      Enter the new data.

       3.      Choose Save customer data.

The system saves your entries and displays the changed data.

Creating new customer master records

...

       1.      Choose Create.

The system displays fields in which you can enter the name, address and date of birth of the customer.

       2.      You enter the new customer’s data.

You use the form of address (title) to indicate whether the customer is a private customer or a corporate customer.

¡        For a private customer, enter the First name, Last name and (optional) Date of birth.

¡        For corporate customers, enter data in as many of the four name fields as required.

In both cases, enter the address and communication data.

       3.      Choose Create customer.

The system saves the data and displays it together with the customer number it has issued for the master record.

Result

The system displays the master data for the customer entered.

When you create and change data, the system creates or changes data in the customer master of your company.
