Price Quotation Processing (in the ERP System) 

Use

This function enables you to manually create price quotations in the ERP system or use your data provider's external partner program to import price quotations into the ERP system, where you can also change price quotations. You use this function when you want to use commodity pricing in SAP CRM.

Prerequisites

You have defined the quotation source, type, and name in Customizing in the ERP system, by choosing Integration with other mySAP.com Components ® Customer Relationship Management ® Basic Functions ® Commodity Pricing ® Commodity Pricing Engine ® Definition of CPE Quotations.

To import price quotations from a provider, you have defined the commodities for the commodity pricing engine (CPE) in the ERP system under Financial Supply Chain Management ® Cash and Liquidity Management ® Cash Management ® Market data ® Datafeed ® Translation Table ® Define Commodities for CPE.

Features

The system stores price quotations with a date and time stamp in table CPED_PRICEQUOT.

Activities

To process the current price quotations, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics ® Sales and Distribution ® Master Data ® Conditions ® Commodity Pricing ® Price Quotations for CPE ® Create Quotations or Change Quotations. You can also select the days for which no quotation is available.
