Enabling Business-to-Business Processes 

This section provides you with information about administration and maintenance tasks specific to a business-to-business (B2B) scenario. It also refers you to the tools and documentation required to perform these tasks.

Technical System Landscape

The technical system landscape illustrates the main components required for each of the two scenario variants and the communication between these components.

The two scenario variants are:

·        Business partner integration using industry standards

·        Smaller business partner and subsidiary integration

Prerequisites

The main prerequisite for B2B scenarios are the following SAP NetWeaver usage types:

·        Application Server (AS) ABAP and Java

·        Process Integration (PI)

These usage types must be installed and configured before you can use the B2B scenario.

Tasks
