Background documentation Business Partner Integration Using Industry Standards Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

The following figure illustrates the main components required for a business partner integration using industry standards and the communication between these components.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

The Solution Manager and the System Landscape Directory are used to configure and model the entire system landscape including your individual application components.

The Integration Builder is used to install your business package and to configure your business-to-business (B2B) integration.

The Integration Server then performs all the message processing.

The Runtime Workbench is used to monitor message processing on all involved components; the Solution Manager can be used to monitor your application components.
