Mass Assignment of Price Level Groups to Merchandise Categories 

Use

You can assign price level groups to article groups using the appropriate maintenance transactions for the article groups. When there is a large number of price level groups to be assigned this can be very time consuming.

This function allows you to drag and drop assignments between merchandise categories and price level groups.

Activities

On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics ® Retailing ® Master Data ® Price Level Groups ® Mass Assignments to Merchandise Categories.

You can use the different selection options to adapt the price level groups and merchandise category selection to your requirements. If you move to the next screen without entering a value, the system displays all the relevant price level groups and merchandise categories.

The screen is divided into two sections:

·        On the right-hand side, you can see all the merchandise categories that are not yet assigned to a price level group.

·        On the left-hand side, you can see all the price level groups.

To create an assignment, select merchandise categories and use drag and drop to transfer them to the relevant price level group. If multiple assignment for merchandise categories is activated in Customizing, the system assigns all merchandise categories beneath the price level group in question. If the multiple assignment function is not switched on, you can only assign one merchandise category for each price level group.

To complete an assignment, click on the required merchandise category and push it back to the top node of the merchandise categories. This merchandise category disappears from the left-hand side and is reassigned below to the merchandise categories. It is then ready for a new assignment.

To reassign a merchandise category within a price level, you can move the category directly from one price level group to another without using the merchandise category side at all.

After the data has been saved, it is transferred to the database and the assignments are created.
