Web Items 

Description

Existing customer scenarios can be edited using the BEx Web Application Designer from SAP BW 3.x  (component of SAP NetWeaver 2004s shipment) as well as from the BEx Web Application Designer from SAP NetWeaver 2004s.

Some Web items from SAP BW 3.x are no longer available. This includes, for example, the Role Menu Web item, which was replaced by the SAP NetWeaver Portal roles, and the Alert Monitor Web item, which was replaced by the universal worklist (also in SAP NetWeaver Portal).

General Practices with Migration

Individual Web items are not migrated, but rather the entire Web application is always migrated. See the description under Web Templates.
