Authorizations in Price Planning 

Use

Using the authorization object WRF_PPWADM and an additional authorization administration based on this, you can define which functions a user is allowed to execute.

Integration

The system distinguishes between three administrative areas for the authorization object WRF_PPWADM:

·        01: Processing price planner groups and their assignment to budgets

·        02: Processing layout user groups

·        03: Reorganizing data in price planning This includes price plans and budgets, and entries in the worklist for markdown proposals.

In the activities, the system distinguishes between Display and Change. Change authorization includes the adding of new objects.

Features

·        Authorizations for budget access and for the processing of layouts for the lists of the Price Planning Workbench are issued in two steps.

                            a.      In the first step, you select certain users to be administrators for price planning. To make a user an administrator, assign them the authorization object WRF_PPWADM with the Change activity for the areas 01 to 02 according to the usual authorization concept in the authorization profile.

                            b.      In the second step, the administrators carry out authorization administration for the other users. They create price planner groups and/or layout user groups and grant authorization for access to budgets and layout processing by assigning users to these groups.

·        Due to the nature of an administrative activity, you also define the authorization for the reorganization of data in price planning using the authorization object WRF_PPWADM. You need to configure the Change activity for the area 03.

In price planning, the authorizations for the integrated applications Sales Price Calculation and Retail Promotion remain valid. This applies, for example, for authorization by performing calculations for the different organizational levels and for creating conditions.
