Using Search Help 

Selection of a new hierarchy node

       1.      On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics ® Retailing ® Master Data ® Article Hierarchy Data ® Change.

       2.      Select a new node or article using the search help. A dialog box appears; the node selected in the hierarchy display is entered as the default value.

Enter a new node manually or using the search help.

You have two options that influence the recreation of the hierarchy display:

¡        When you confirm the entry, the hierarchy display is reconstructed and the tree path with the parent node of the selected node is displayed.

¡        When you set the Root Node indicator, the hierarchy display is reconstructed and the tree path with the root node as the top-level node is displayed.

Selection of a new article for a hierarchy node

       1.      On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics ® Retailing ® Master Data ® Article Hierarchy Data ® Change.

       2.      To determine all articles for a node, select a node in the hierarchy display and choose Search Help. A dialog box appears; the node selected in the hierarchy display is entered as the default value.

By pressing the Enter, you can display a list of all articles that are directly or indirectly assigned to the selected node, and select an article.

You have two options that influence the recreation of the hierarchy display:

¡        When you set the Root Node indicator, the hierarchy display is reconstructed and the tree path with the root node as the top-level node is displayed.

¡        When you confirm the entry, the hierarchy display is reconstructed and tree path with the parent node of the node for the selected article is displayed.

Selection of a new article

       1.      On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics ® Retailing ® Master Data ® Article Hierarchy Data ® Change.

       2.      Choose Search Help. A dialog box opens in which you can select an article (with or without node) manually or using the article search help.

When you press Enter, all articles for this selection criterion are displayed in a list, from which you can select one article only.

¡        When you set the Root Node indicator, the hierarchy display is reconstructed and the tree path with the root node as the top-level node is displayed.

¡        When you confirm the entry, the hierarchy display is reconstructed and tree path with the parent node of the node for the selected article is displayed.

Selection of an assignment of an article with multiple assignments

       1.      On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics ® Retailing ® Master Data ® Article Hierarchy Data ® Change.

       2.      To determine another assignment of the article, select the article on the Article Assignments tab page and choose Search Help.

All cross-category article assignments are displayed in the dialog box. You can only select one article assignment.

If an article is only assigned once, only the direct node is displayed in the dialog box.

In the case of scheduled assignments, all node and article selections are made with relation to a key date.
