You use this component to supply SAP F&R with information from the standard system.
You can choose from two transfer methods for the data exchange. To import the data to SAP F&R, certain settings are required in SAP ECC (for example, the selection of the distribution centers or the products).
You must organize and control the export of data in SAP ECC (for example, using background jobs). SAP F&R cannot request the data. The transport of order proposals from SAP F&R back to SAP ECC is triggered automatically by SAP F&R, but you can also trigger it manually yourself.
You can export the following data to SAP F&R:
· Master data
New and changed master data is received.
· Merchandise and Assortment Planning
The master data released in a planning solution is received.
Shelf data from a space management system is received.
· POS Inbound
Sales data and updated historical sales data is received.
Planned promotions (demand influencing factors) are received.
· Inventory Management
Stock data is received.
· Purchasing
Order data that has been manually created/changed/deleted is received.
Partially and completely fulfilled purchase order quantities and consumption data from distribution centers are received.
· Store management
Store orders and store forecasts are received.
You can import the following data from SAP F&R:
· Purchase orders
Order proposals are made available.
In SAP ECC, you transfer the master data and movement data using two different functions. You can also choose different transfer types (initial or delta transfer) for this data.
You can choose the following transfer types for the data exchange:
· Function modules (remote function call, RFC) in SAP F&R
· Relevant XI interfaces
· Data changes
You cannot import data changes within SAP F&R to SAP ECC (standalone system). You can transfer order proposals to SAP ECC to generate purchase orders from them.
· Minimum and maximum stocks
You define these stock-related control parameters in SAP ECC. These parameters only have an effect within SAP F&R.
· Procurement rule
You define the procurement rule control parameter in SAP ECC. This parameter only has an effect within SAP F&R.
· Department stores
You cannot perform replenishment planning in SAP F&R for articles in stores with the attribute Department Store, even if the replenishment type in SAP F&R is set to replenishment planning.
