Master Data Export 

Use

You use these interfaces to export master data to SAP F&R, which requires the master data for automatic replenishment.

Integration

You can use this central function to export the following master data to SAP F&R.

·        Article

·        Article hierarchy

·        Site

·        Site group

·        Supply network: Transportation lanes for subranges

·        Supply network: Transportation lanes for articles

·        Supply network

·        Procurement cycle

·        Demand influencing factors (DIF)

Prerequisites

It is imperative that master data information is transferred to SAP F&R to enable replenishment planning to be performed there.

You have processed the following settings in Customizing:

Features

You use Customizing settings to control and organize the data transfer to SAP F&R. In the general settings, you activate the interfaces you require and inform the system about the existence of the F&R system. Only once you have done this is it possible to transfer data. You can control the transfer of order data to time intervals. The replenishment type you choose affects the result of replenishment planning in SAP F&R. You must also assign the F&R-relevant replenishment type in the master data for the article.

You use the Define High-Level Filter for Sites function to control replenishment for your locations, worldwide. If you enter a site here, the system only transfers articles that are carried in this site. In SAP F&R, you can then perform replenishment planning for these articles.

 

There are two types of data transfer:

·        Initial data transfer (FRE_INIT_LOAD)

If you are transferring data to SAP F&R for the first time, you execute an initial data transfer. The system checks the F&R relevance (for example, MRP type) of all data and, if necessary, sends this to SAP F&R (checks all master data for a relevance flag).

·        Delta transfer (FRE_DELTA_LOAD)

If you want to send data changes or updates to SAP F&R, you execute a delta transfer. The system only transfers changes for data that has been found to be F&R-relevant (as shown by change pointers).

Activities

To perform an initial transfer of master data to SAP F&R, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose

·         Logistics à Retailing à Distributed Retailing à F&R Integration à Main Data Transfer to F&R à Initial Transfer of Data.

·         Logistics à Retailing à Distributed Retailing à F&R Integration à Main Data Transfer to F&R à Delta Transfer of Data.

If you make a selection when performing the initial transfer, this only has an effect if you choose the following:

§         Purchase orders

§         Demand influencing factors

§         Layout modules

§         Location, location product and transportation lanes

§         Reference assignments

To transfer master data to SAP F&R after making Customizing changes, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose

·        Logistics à Retailing à Distributed Retailing à F&R Integration à Data Transfer to SAP F&R After Customizing Change à Prepare Transfer of Procurement Cycles.

·        Logistics à Retailing à Distributed Retailing à F&R Integration à Data Transfer to SAP F&R after Change in Customizing à Prepare Transfer of Initial Buy Control.

·        Logistics à Retailing à Distributed Retailing à F&R Integration à Data Transfer to F&R after Customizing Change à Transfer of Structured Materials.

The system cannot transfer changes to SAP F&R in their entirety and without any errors occurring without previously performing a main data transfer.

 

To transfer DIF occurrences to SAP F&R, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose

·        Logistics à Retailing à Distributed Retailing à F&R Integration à Main Data Transfer to F&R à Initial Transfer of DIF Occurrences.

·        Logistics à Retailing à Distributed Retailing à F&R Integration à Main Data Transfer to F&R à Delta Transfer of DIF Occurrences.

 

To view system messages after a data transfer, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose

Logistics à Retailing à Distributed Retailing à F&R Integration à Monitor in ERP System à User Interface for Messages after Transfer of Data to SAP F&R.

 

To delete unnecessary data from the control table before a data transfer, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose:

·        Logistics à Retailing à Distributed Retailing à F&R Integration à Reorganization of Control Table Entries for Transfer to SAP F&R à Delete Administration Data Used for Transfer of DIF Occurrences.

·        Logistics à Retailing à Distributed Retailing à F&R Integration à Reorganization of Control Table Entries for Transfer to SAP F&R à Delete Unnecessary Entries from Control Table for F&R Products.

·        Logistics à Retailing à Distributed Retailing à F&R Integration à Reorganization of Control Table Entries for Transfer to SAP F&R à Delete Entries from Control Table for MC/MC-Hierarchies.
