Carry out the following administration steps:

If no J2EE Engine is available, the Structure linkWeb Service Homepage cannot be called. 

For transport security, the SSL Protocol is supported by the SAP Web AS and the Web Service Proxy. In this way, all the data for a Web service call can be transmitted between client and server in an encrypted form.

Assign the required user role of Web Service administrator (SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_ADMIN). to those users who are to create and bind Web Services.

Note

As soon as you have created Web Services you can branch to the display of the SICF services in transaction WSCONFIG using the ICF Details pushbutton. You can display the SICF service (for example, the logon procedure, security requirements) of your Web service by double-clicking it.
