Activating Price Plans 

Use

When you activate price plans, the system updates the budgets that are involved. The budget update for markdown price plans and manual price plans takes place with updated stock quantities. When processing promotion price plans, you can specify whether the system updates budgets with the current stock quantities, with specified planned quantities, or primarily with planned quantities but with the stock quantity when the level of stock is low.

For promotion price plans that contain site groups with different validity start dates, partial activation is possible for individual site groups.

Prerequisites

The price plan has the status Conditions Created.

Features

Selection

·        You can enter the price plan number and the price plan category to restrict the selection of price plans.

·        In terms of the validity start date, you can restrict the selection by entering a time interval under Start Date of Current Prices and by entering the Number of Lead Days.

If you enter a time interval, this takes precedence over an entry in the Number of Lead Days field.

Output

If you run the report, the system creates an application log for the object WRF_PPW, subobject ACTIVATE, that lists errors, warnings and success messages. During the execution, the system also issues a log list.

Activities

On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics ® Retailing ® Master Data ® Price Planning ® Price Plans  ® Activate.

We recommend that you schedule a daily run of the report in the background.
