Use

You must create an article master (in an SAP retailing system) or a material master (in an SAP manufacturing system) for an additional. You must assign an article type suitable for additionals to your master record. Article type VKHM has been defined for this in the standard system.

Integration

You process article data using article maintenance (SAP retailing system) or using material maintenance (SAP manufacturing system).

Prerequisites

Before you create an article master for additionals, you should define a suitable merchandise category structure for the additional. The merchandise category of the additional has important control functions.
