Object documentation Sales Price (Gross/Net) Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Definition

The gross sales price is the price that the customer pays, including sales tax. The net sales price is the price without sales tax.

Use

The sales price (gross, net) is taken from the sales price calculation schema. If rounding to price points has been defined, the value determined using sales price determination is rounded and the calculation is adjusted accordingly by changing the actual markup.

Note

Rounding to price points is defined in Customizing for Pricing for the relevant step of the sales price determination sequence.

If the sales price is manually changed in the pricing table, the new value is rounded to price points where necessary. Once the data has been released, the displayed value may differ from the value that you entered. If changes are made in the Final price field, rounding to price points does not take place again.

The sales price (gross, net) is displayed in the pricing currency in the list fields VKPBR and VKPNE of the pricing table respectively.

Note

You define the pricing currency under Maintain Pricing Type in Customizing for Pricing.

The sales price (gross, net) is used in combination with the purchase price (net/net) to calculate the margin (gross, net).
