Process documentation Competitor Prices Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Purpose

You can use price entry lists to create competitor prices as condition records in the system and use these to help you determine sales prices in the sales price calculation function.

Prerequisites

The settings required for this functionality are described in Functional Prerequisites for Competitor Prices.

Process Flow

  1. You can use the Competitor price entry function to create price entry lists for competitor prices.
  2. You enter the competitor prices in the price entry lists and transfer the prices to the system.

Note

Competitor prices can also be transferred (imported) using the Condition IDOC (COND_A01).

  1. You can have the competitor prices transferred to the sales price calculation function where you can use them to help you make decisions on calculating your own sales prices and where you can use them to generate suggested prices, if required.
