This section provides sequence diagrams illustrating the POS client startup and shutdown processes.

In the diagrams, XyzService is used to represent a typical Device Service implementation. The Device Loader component shown in this diagram is the entity in the POS client that is responsible for orchestrating all interaction with the services.
