Universal Worklist for MobileLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

Universal Worklist (UWL) is a centralized task management tool through which business users can manage, respond to, and delegate daily work items. Enterprise workspaces enables end users to access their UWL tasks from mobile devices:

  • In the portal, the content administrator creates an iView based on the supplied Universal Worklist for Mobile iView template, and configures the properties of this iView. The content administrator then adds this iView to a mobile role to enable accessing it on a mobile device.

  • In enterprise workspaces, the workspace administrator uses the provided Universal Worklist module template to create a module in a workspace that is intended for mobile usage.

Optionally, the workspace administrator can modify the configuration properties of the Universal Worklist module template. For more information, see Configuring the Universal Worklist Module Template.

Note

Users who access the UWL iView or module on their desktop will see the regular Web Dynpro Universal Worklist, according to the configuration defined by the content or workspace administrator.

In the mobile version, enterprise workspaces support only UWL tasks.

The following sections describe how to configure and use UWL for mobile devices:
