People Explorer
People Explorer is a social intelligence application that captures and delivers people-centric and organization-centric information. People Explorer enables you to search for and quickly find people and other entities that are relevant to your work, and to view the relationships between these entities. For example, a Reports to relationship between an employee and a manager. People Explorer consists of a client web application for end users, and a web application for administration purposes.
People Explorer is available only in enterprise workspaces installations on SAP NetWeaver Portal 7.3 or higher.
To use People Explorer, you first activate the tool. Then, you configure the system. Configuring the system includes uploading a data source file, and configuring the entities and relationships in the system according to the structure of your data source. Once the system is configured, you load the actual data to People Explorer.
