Assigning Roles to a Single UserLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

  • You are assigned the portal Content Admin role.

  • You have activated the Social Content Admin role.

Context

The following procedure describes how to assign or unassign roles to a user.

Procedure

  1. In the People Explorer Administration window, select Start of the navigation path Roles Next navigation step Assign Roles to User End of the navigation path.

    The User Role Assignment window appears.

  2. Select a user in the table.
  3. In the user's Actions column, choose Actions to open the actions menu:
    • To assign a role, choose Assign Roles and select the role to assign the user.

      The role is added to the user's list of roles in the Assigned Roles column.

    • To unassign a role, choose Unassign Roles and select the role to unassign the user.

      The role is removed from the user's list of roles in the Assigned Roles column.
