Enabling the Member Explorer Module TemplateLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

You are assigned the Workspaces Content Administration role.

Context

Enterprise Workspaces come with a module template named Member Explorer. The Member Explorer module shows, in graphical format, connections between workspace members and the workspaces of which they are a member. You use the Member Explorer module to explore the workspace connections of members of a workspace, and to launch the connected workspaces directly from the module. Note that you only see workspaces of which you are also a member.

You can configure the Member Explorer module to show photos of each workspace member. For more information, see Configuring User Photo Support.

Note

The Member Explorer module template is available only in enterprise workspaces installations on SAP NetWeaver Portal 7.3 or higher.

Note

You can add the Member Explorer module only to restricted or private workspaces. For more information about workspace permission policies, see Creating and Configuring a Shared Workspace.

You need to configure the Member Explorer module template to be available in the Module Gallery.

Procedure

  1. In the portal, navigate to Start of the navigation path Workspace Administration Next navigation step Module Templates End of the navigation path.
  2. Select the Member Explorer module template, and choose Edit.
  3. In the General Properties tab, in the Available In group, select the Module gallery checkbox.

    You can also configure additional properties, as required.

  4. Save your changes.
