Configuring Permissions for Enterprise Workspaces
You need to configure the permissions for content stored in the Portal Content Directory (PCD). This content includes objects used by enterprise workspaces, such as workspaces, modules, templates, and roles.
By default, the Super Admin role has Owner administrator and user permissions for the entire collection of content that resides in the portal. The Super Admin permission settings cannot be modified.
This section describes recommended permissions for initial content of enterprise workspaces.
Portal Catalog folders inherit the permissions of their parent folder. If you modify the permissions of a folder in any way, the folder ceases to inherit the permissions of its parent folder. You can use the restore inheritance feature in the Permission editor to restore inheritance between folders.

The workspaces folder contains various enterprise workspace iViews, pages and configurations. In addition, it contains the following roles: Workspace Access, Personal Workspace Owner, and Shared Workspace Creation. To enable performing configurations and transport, you need to provide full control for the portal system and content administration roles.
Set permissions for the following folder: pcd:portal_content/every_user/workspaces.
To reach this folder, navigate to
Content Administration

and in the Portal Catalog choose
Portal Content Portal
Users Workspace Users .

You can export and import workspaces and workspace templates using the portal transport mechanism. To use the workspace transport feature, you need to be assigned both the portal System Admin role and the Workspace System Administration role.
