Use

The Member Explorer module shows, in graphical format, connections between workspace members and the workspaces of which they are a member. You use the Member Explorer module to explore the workspace connections of members of a workspace. You can also launch connected workspaces directly from the module.

Note

You can add the Member Explorer module only to restricted or private workspaces. For more information about workspace permission policies, see Creating and Configuring a Shared Workspace.

Prerequisites

This module is available only in enterprise workspaces installations on SAP NetWeaver Portal 7.3 or higher, if enabled by your workspaces administrator.

Procedure

The Member Explorer module initially shows an icon representing the current workspace in the center of the module, surrounded by all of the workspace members. If your workspace administrator has enabled user photos, workspace members are displayed with their user photo. If no photo exists for a given user, an avatar icon is displayed.

  • Choose a workspace member. The member becomes the center focus of the module, surrounded by the member's workspaces of which you are a member. You can then choose one of the workspaces to make it the center focus of the module and see its members, and so on.

  • Hover the cursor over members and workspaces to view possible actions:

    • Choose Explore to make the member or workspace the focus of the module.

    • Choose Launch Workspace to open the workspace in a new browser window.

  • To return to the original state with the current workspace in focus, choose Refresh.
