Use

In enterprise workspaces, you can create modules that display SAP BusinessObjects reports, using the BusinessObjects Report module template.

Enterprise workspaces support the following SAP BusinessObjects versions:

  • SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.x

  • SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence platform 4.0

This section describes how to add the BusinessObjects Report module template to enterprise workspaces and how to configure the template and the master system.

Prerequisites
  • Knowledge Management is installed on your system.

  • You have installed the Portal Integration Kit (PIK) for the SAP BusinessObjects version you are using, and you have configured the connection and authentication between SAP BusinessObjects and SAP Business Information Warehouse (BW).

    Note

Enterprise workspaces do not support working with both SAP BusinessObjects versions at the same time. The latest PIK installed is the supported version.

After installing the BOE PIK, the BusinessObjects Report module template is added to the list of available module templates.

    Note

If you cannot see the BusinessObjects Report module template, you need to restart the ModuleLibrary service.

  • The same user must be configured for both the portal and for the BW system.

  • The portal must be installed on the same domain as the SAP BusinessObjects server.

  • Trust must be defined between the portal and the BW system.
