Monitoring Workspace QuotaLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

You are assigned the Workspace System Administration role.

Context

Enterprise workspaces provide a quota monitoring feature for workspaces. By default, quota monitoring is disabled. If you enable this feature, you need to specify the maximum disk space allowed for personal and for shared workspaces. You can specify a quota threshold, which causes warning message to be sent to the workspace managers when the threshold is exceeded. You can also specify how often to calculate the space usage.

Procedure

  1. In the portal, navigate to Start of the navigation path Workspace Administration Next navigation step Configuration End of the navigation path.
  2. Select the Features tab.
  3. Under Workspace Quota, specify the following:
    • In the Enable Quota Monitoring dropdown list, select true.

    • In the Personal Workspace Quota and Shared Workspace Quota fields, specify the default maximum space, in megabytes, available for personal workspaces and for shared workspaces.

    • In the Quota Threshold field, specify the percentage of used space that is the threshold, after which to send a warning message to the workspace managers.

    • In the Start Time of Scheduled Task field, specify when to start running the scheduled task that calculates disk space usage.

    • In the Scheduled Task Interval field, specify how often, in minutes, to run the scheduled task that calculates disk space usage.

  4. Save your changes.
