Enterprise workspaces can send e-mail notifications upon various events or actions. For example, when a user requests to join a restricted workspace, an e-mail notification containing the request details is sent to the workspace owner and managers. Then, once the user is added as a member, another e-mail notification is sent to the user.
To enable e-mail notifications in enterprise workspaces, you need to configure the return address for e-mails, and the properties of the SMTP server.
You can also configure e-mail notifications for a workspace with no owner.
For information about customizing the content of the e-mail notifications, see Configuring E-Mail Notifications.
You are assigned the portal Workspace System Administration role.
