Creating a Module Template 
The enterprise workspaces Module Library enables you to manage existing module templates and create new module templates.
To create a new template, you use a wizard where you:
Specify the source object, such as an iView or a Web URL, on which to base the module template.
Configure the general properties of the template. For example, you can attach a custom icon, specify whether the template will be available for shared or personal workspaces or both, and select the categories under which the template will appear.
Configure additional properties. This is optional.
Configure the permissions for the template, which determine the users, groups or roles that will be able to see the module template in the Module Gallery.
You are assigned the portal Content Administration role.
You are assigned the Workspace Content Administration role.
In the portal, navigate to .
The Module Library appears.
Note
When a user has both the Workspace Content Administration role and the Workspace System Administration role, then the navigation path is: .
From Create a Module Template, on the right side of the Module Gallery, select the type of source object on which to base the module: Portal Content, Portal Role, or URL.
The first step of the template creation wizard is displayed. The tab in focus corresponds to the selected source. You can select a different tab, if necessary.

Note
The Create a Module Template wizard filters out the following types of iViews and pages: Web Dynpro Java Integrator iViews, Workset Map iView, Service Map iView, all pages except Web Dynpro Proxy Pages, all FPN pages, and iViews. You can configure the objects to filter out, as described in Configuring Object Types Not to Use as Sources for a Module Template below.
Note
When the selected source object was an embedded iView, the resulting module will be isolated.

Choose Next.
You reach the second step of the wizard, for setting the properties of the module template.
Specify the properties of the module template. For more information, see Configuring the Properties of a Module Template.
Choose Done.
The module template is added to the Module Library.
In the portal, navigate to .
In the Portal Catalog, choose .
Open the Configuration page
In the Property Category dropdown list, select Enterprise Workspaces.

Save your changes.
